Branko turns T H R E E!

Wow! 3 years sure does go fast. It's crazy how much can change in that amount of time. 

Branko has come a long way with his speech this past year, we still have some work to do, but he's on his own curve and continuing to make improvements. 

This year Branko became a big brother, started daycare twice a week, started a few different soccer programs, enjoys going to the zoo and seeing the goats, going for walks, playing in the back yard, paw patrol, dancing, and pink or owl cake pops at starbucks. He's come around to being a big brother and has now started to ask to play with Conrad. He's grown a lot of patience for his little bro. It takes a while for Branko to open up, but when he does, he's a lovable and sweet boy. Happy birthday Branko! We love you SO much!




We went to a nearby playground with Meadow and her mom Jerica. We thought with the school age kids being in school, it would be empty. Nope! One school dropped off at least 30 5 year olds and it was packed! A bit overwhelming not knowing where your kid is in the chaos. Once ghe 5 year olds left, the boys and Meadow enjoyed playing with books.

Branko's actual birthday fell on a Monday this year. We had plans go to to the apple farm to celebrate his birthday the weekend before, but last minute decided to go to Jerry Smiths pumpkin farm. I'm so glad we did, because there was barely anyone there and it felt like we had the place to ourselves. We invited a few of Patrick's friends and their families and had a great afternoon with some amazing weather. More pics to come later in this blog post.

On Sunday, Branko wanted to go to the playground in our neighborhood. We were there pretty early and had the place to ourselves.





Later on that day, my mom took us out for Branko's birthday. Unfortunately, the restaurant we went to was closing a few days after we were there :(. It was a cute little restaurant where it had 50's vibes with milkshakes and burgers.



When we got home, we enjoyed singing Happy Birthday, blowing out candles, and eating cake.



On Monday, Branko was officially 3! I had to work this day and we couldn't take Branko out of school without having to pay for it, so we brought in cupcakes for his class to enjoy.

Branko enjoys drinking out of the faucet. At school, they have a drinking fountain in the sink at school.

  Someone got into the red paint post bath.. Fun trip to the library This wall had them entertained for a while Conrads a bit more of a nurturer than his brother Get in m belly! Farm fresh eggs from Taylor! Branko has been a huge super hero lover these days. He has 6 stretchy small super heros that I actually got for Conrad for valentines day. First smiles!

November 6th was our little guys first real smile, and boy does it make all the exhaustion worth it! Starting to bring his hands together :) Nora being put to work and getting to feed her baby cousin! More smiles with Auntie Jodi! My favorite time of day are mornings in bed with Branko, that’s if he slept well the night before. But he is extra smiley in the morning! And those blue eyes really pop with the lighting in our room! Fun filters with Nora! This was the first onesie I bought when I was pregnant. I was in Arizona with some girlfriends for the Waste Managemenr golf tournament back in Jan/early Feb. I didn’t realize it at the time, but the onesie is a tad girly with the ruffled sleeves! (hard to tell in this picture). I like to call this the “Bjorn” shirt. If you know, you know.  Since the masters were cancelled this year, it was rescheduled for November. Patrick and Branko have matching “Yama boy” shirts. Ozarks 2023!

We went to the Ozarks a week earlier than normal, and the weather was much more bearable this year. (Or maybe it wasn't as miserable being outside because I wasn't pregnant). The boys did great during the drive. They both were starting to lose it in St. Louis-which worked out because we were going to stop there for lunch anyway. Then, they lost it when we got to Branson-which worked out because we were there!  This photo is out of order, but Branko was Nora's shadow the whole trip! Thank you for taking him under your wing Nora! He sure looks up to you. When we arrived, we settled into our room. It was the perfect room for us-main level, corner room, with no neighbors on either side of us. Hopefully we didn't wake our neighbors above and below us!  The car was pretty tight, but only because our stroller takes up most of the space!
