Conrad starts daycare and happy summer 2024!!

We celebrated Angela's birthday at Hamburger Mary's

I was a bit nervous to take both (walking) boys to the splash pad by myself. They both actually did great and didn't run away.

The meal before Conrad's first day of school! Our daycare doesn't allow kids under 2 to go part time. They do allow younger siblings to get grandfathered in starting at 18months. He didn't like getting dropped off, but he did have an overall great day!

Little does he know, he's staying inside the school this time..

His teacher sent lots of pictures (and still does) through out the day!

Branko had a good day at school that day too. He has been running into his classroom with no issues lately!

He cried when he walked into my arms as I picked him up. Excited to get home!

I saw my carrier in the kitchen and thought I'd put Conrad in it one last time. It didn't last very long. Wow! He sure is a big boy! He recently had a doctors appointment and he is:
28lb 14.4 oz (91st percentile)
 2'11" (97th percentile)
He is on trend of still being a pound bigger and an inch taller than Branko was at this age.

The wrestling phase is starting..

"Forget about it!"

Buggy ride at school!

Sure loves that lawn mower at school

We've had this wagon in our front closet for so long that I registered for when I was pregnant with Branko. We've finally brought it out and the boys sure have been enjoying the wagon rides.

We went to a milkmen game for the first time. Before the game, we went out for pizza. The restaurant we went to had indoor and outdoor seating. We asked to sit inside since there was a big water fountain we knew the boys would try and climb into the whole time. The only seating they had was basically outside and Conrad was restless and kept trying to climb into the fountain. This set us up for very little patience for the game. We lasted maybe 3 innings as Branko just wanted to run around the perimeter the whole time and wasn't listening. We were exhausted parents after this.

We started going to a music class through the park department. Branko LOVES it. Conrad enjoys it too, despite this picture.

We've tried multiple activities with Branko and he either doesn't want to do it or he just runs around the whole time. We're VERY happy that we've found something is truly enjoys.

After music class, we went to touch a trucl.

They had face painting and balloon animals. Branko picked the baseball and Conrad got a green snake.

It rained later on that day, so we spent some time in the basement. With the warmer months, we're not in the basement too often.

Another day, another wagon ride.

Conrad has definitely showed interest in the potty. He likes to sit on the potty and stick his hand in the toilet water. I also find it cute when Branko stands to pee, Conrad follows and stands again the toilet. Maybe we can get this guy trained before 2.5 like we did for Branko!

We helped JP pick up this NBA Jam arcade game one day and had a cook out. Branko's face when Eddie was dj'ing for him.

Branko/Conrad day with Grandma and Grandpa

Tired boys after breakfast and the park!

I picked up the boys later on that day and Conrad was knocked out.

More pics from school!

My mom made a strawberry pie!

We have passes to Green Meadow and we finally got to go! Branko wanted to wear Hulk even though it was nearly 90 degrees outside. We nearly had the place to ourselves! Right when we left, there were 3 bus loads of kid camps.

One night, Branko came up to me and asked if I would scratch his back, soon enough he fell asleep in my arms.

Patricks' mom took him to a dinosaur museum. They even had a Batmobile!

They went and got pizza. He wanted handfuls of parmesan cheese, just like his grandpa!

While Branko was there, we had a father's day lunch at my parents.

Chocolate ice cream monster

Conrad spent the night at my parents as Patrick was at a golf tournament and my friend Jenna opened a new wedding venue called the Valerie in Oconomowoc. This was their "soft" opening before their wedding season begins. It was a beautiful place and I'm so proud and excited for them! Her daughter in the blue is who the venue is named after!

Meanwhile, Branko spent the night at Patrick's moms.

Group shot of all the girls who came to support Jenna!

Later on that night, I met up with Patrick and some other friends I haven't seen in a while.

Conrad was up nice and early for Grandma and Grandpa. When I walked in to pick up Conrad, they were both sleeping on the couch.

Playing with snap chat filters and I can't believe how old Branko looks in this picture.

Happy Father's day Dad and to all the dads!
