Zoo Days/Summer fun

We went to the zoo with Jackie/Andrea/Ella!

It was my friend Angela's birthday, so a few of our girlfriends went out to dinner at a new restaurant in downtown Milwaukee called Il Cervo. So good and a GREAT atmosphere. It had just opened a few weeks prior to us going and it is going to be a busy spot with their patio. This couple sat behind us and I thought he looked like he could be a basketball player-but wasn't sure. Another table had said something to him and then we found out that he's the new coach for the bucks! Here he is with his wife. We mostly talked with her as he was talking with the other table that called him out. Shes from Champange, IL and they were house hunting all day.

First time at the splash pad this year! Conrad's first! Branko was content sitting on the side and pouring the water from the bucked to the cup.

Later on that day, we went and spent the late afternoon at Angela's pool to celebrate her actual birthday.

Later on that weekend, it was "The Mindy" golf tournament that Patrick is a part of. The boys and I went to the zoo and then met with Patrick and a few of our other friends at the biergarden at Pets.

We got him a new rocket launcher that he insisted on bringing into the car on his way to daycare.

  Someone got into the red paint post bath.. Fun trip to the library This wall had them entertained for a while Conrads a bit more of a nurturer than his brother Get in m belly! First smiles!

November 6th was our little guys first real smile, and boy does it make all the exhaustion worth it! Starting to bring his hands together :) Nora being put to work and getting to feed her baby cousin! More smiles with Auntie Jodi! My favorite time of day are mornings in bed with Branko, that’s if he slept well the night before. But he is extra smiley in the morning! And those blue eyes really pop with the lighting in our room! Fun filters with Nora! This was the first onesie I bought when I was pregnant. I was in Arizona with some girlfriends for the Waste Managemenr golf tournament back in Jan/early Feb. I didn’t realize it at the time, but the onesie is a tad girly with the ruffled sleeves! (hard to tell in this picture). I like to call this the “Bjorn” shirt. If you know, you know.  Since the masters were cancelled this year, it was rescheduled for November. Patrick and Branko have matching “Yama boy” shirts. Ozarks 2023!

We went to the Ozarks a week earlier than normal, and the weather was much more bearable this year. (Or maybe it wasn't as miserable being outside because I wasn't pregnant). The boys did great during the drive. They both were starting to lose it in St. Louis-which worked out because we were going to stop there for lunch anyway. Then, they lost it when we got to Branson-which worked out because we were there!  This photo is out of order, but Branko was Nora's shadow the whole trip! Thank you for taking him under your wing Nora! He sure looks up to you. When we arrived, we settled into our room. It was the perfect room for us-main level, corner room, with no neighbors on either side of us. Hopefully we didn't wake our neighbors above and below us!  The car was pretty tight, but only because our stroller takes up most of the space!
