F O U R months!

Conrad is now four months old! I've been loving this age. He's become such a good sleeper, loves to smile/giggle, and is overall an easy baby. We went to his four month check up today and he weighs 16lb 3 oz (62nd percentile-I thought he was going to be a bit higher on the scale for this). Branko was 15 lb 0oz at this age. Conrad is in the 80th percentile for height. Branko was in the 66th at this age. Overall, a bigger kid!

We finished up soccer this month, Branko wasn't very good at following directions and more so just ran around the gym. He had a blast, but we did not since he kept interrupting the other kids. We'll try again after he learns some more structure while at day care.
There's always that one kid....

These boys got to wear their niners gear a lot in the month of January. The niners lost in the NFC championship game. Which probably was a good thing, because I think they would have been destroyed in the super bowl against the chiefs. That would have made for one boring superbowl.

The mischievous little brother is up to something..

Conrad was going on a few days of not pooping, he projectile pooped all over this outfit, dresser, lamp, and rug in his room.
He always looks so cute before his bath, I wish the bathroom lighting was better!

Forgot to take pictures of Branko's first day of school before we put his jacket on. So here we are posing in the laundry room. First day went well, he ate all of his food, didn't cry when we left, but cried once he woke up from his nap until we got there to pick him up. He did eat 2 servings of lunch!

There's an app where the teachers let us now how much they eat, wet diapers, and when the nap. His teacher took this photo of him. It makes me laugh, because it looks like he has a bowl cut. Needless to say, he got a haircut after this.
Here's his classroom and sitting with one of his teachers and friends enjoying breakfast. We made it one day before we had to call Branko in sick with the norovirus-which then spread to Pat. Conrad and I dodged it somehow.

Someone has really found his hands and enjoys chomping on them.

Side by side of the boys. Branko is on the left and Conrad is on the right.
Conrad has really started loving his teethers and playing with toys.

Matching Crystal Palace jerseys!

Our friends Slags and Twinkle had  agender reveal party. This was the first clue of the scavenger hunt. They're having a girl!

Branko kept saying "cheeeeese" and posing for pictures-he never does this

My mom came up to watch the boys one night so we could go out for a date night. We went to the new "top golf" type place called the Luxe. I wish I was better at golf-I did actually hit the ball and only missed a few times!

I love when these 2 "match"
Unfortunately, this is the only picture I have of the 2 of them

Valentines dinner at Cozumel. They normally give grilled chicken, but gave us chicken tenders that Branko wouldn't eat. Luckily, I had lots of extra steak to share.

Branko had his speech evaluation on this day and he was showing off to his speech therapist and social worker. He doesn't qualify for the 3K offered through the school district, so we're proud of that! He still is behind-but we're making progress. The other day, I was giving him a bath, and was quizzing him on the alphabet letters and he almost got them all right! I had no idea he knew all of this. He just wants it to be the right time to show off I guess. Now we're working on getting him to say 2 worded sentences. He's done it a few times. "Dada, bye" "Blue dog" "No, ___" I can't remember what he was saying no to.
This little guy has started to GIGGLE!

Branko has been loving playing in the basement lately. He just learned how to go down the stairs by himself.

Finally getting him to sit on the potty! That's a win. He still doesn't know when he goes to the bathroom or tell us when, so we're not there yet.

I'm surprised it took this long, but Branko has officially been moved to a toddler bed. It hasn't been the easiest transition, but we're working on it. He started to fall out of his crib head first. Luckily we were in there both times it happened this day.
We were all dressed and ready before Cam's first birthday party!

The following day, we had dinner at Jackie/Andrew/Ella's

We needed to get out of the house a few days ago. I wanted to go to this kids place with a bunch of different play rooms, but Conrad took a really long morning nap-which didn't leave us much time to go before Branko's nap. We went to the library instead. Branko basically just played on the steps since he's so proud of himself now that he can do it himself. He pushes us out of the way if we want to help-so much so he nearly loses his balance on the stairs to get us out of the way.

We just had an ice storm yesterday, leaving the roads very slippery. Branko had school and Conrad was at my parents, so we decided to have Conrad spend the night instead of driving on the roads. Conrad all of a sudden started to pout his lip..

Branko's teacher brought this game in called, "Don't break the ice" to practice gentle hands. Looks like someone has a bit of work to do!
