February Randoms

Big Crystal Palace fan.



I love when he wakes up smiley!
My grandma Helen's dog, Emma, recently passed away. She had a white westie. She recently just got this new dog. Its the Toto dog from Wizard of Oz! Her name is Holly. (I'm pretty sure she named her Holly, I know she changed her original name, if it's not Holly, I'll just look back at this post and laugh).

We recently started to transition Branko out of his swaddle. Naps have been a bit more of a challenge when you have control over your arms!
My mom made Branko this quilt. It's a turtle. I'll have to get a better picture of it, but he loves touching it during tummy time/ playing!

I borrowed a few different sleepers from my friend Katie to see which ones worked best for us. People rave about this one, but it makes me so nervous that he'll roll over and get stuck face down in his crib. He hasn't rolled from back to tummy yet, but he loves to look over his right shoulder and kick his legs, its only a matter of time!
Here's that pouty face again! The other day, Patrick had just showered and trimmed his beard and Branko gave the biggest pouty face. I agree, dad does look a little different with wet hair and a trimmed beard. 



Max came over last weekend to meet Branko. I used to watch Max last year once a week for my friends Taylor/John. It's crazy how big Max looks from the last time I saw him on his birthday back in September! These two are a year and 5 days apart. I can't wait to watch these two grow up together. 

Branko slept during most of the time they were over, I ended up waking him up so they could see each other! (Notice the blue mushroom again?)






Auntie Jodi got Branko the keys to her, Ava, and Nora's heart for valentines day!

After uploading all of these photos, I've realized Branko wears his soccer jerseys A LOT! I suppose there are games multiple times a week, but time to change things up!


Patrick made a surf and turf for our valentines day dinner. It may have looked a little different this year, but the food sure was delicious. We've been spoiled by normally having our Traeger make the steaks, but it's completely covered in snow, so we improvised. By we, I mean Patrick. If you have an air fryer, air fry your Brussel sprouts, you won't be disappointed! Branko slept during our dinner, I feel like we've had to fight him a little bit harder to get to sleep without being swaddled, but we're getting there!

November 6th was our little guys first real smile, and boy does it make all the exhaustion worth it! Starting to bring his hands together :) Nora being put to work and getting to feed her baby cousin! More smiles with Auntie Jodi! My favorite time of day are mornings in bed with Branko, that’s if he slept well the night before. But he is extra smiley in the morning! And those blue eyes really pop with the lighting in our room! Fun filters with Nora! This was the first onesie I bought when I was pregnant. I was in Arizona with some girlfriends for the Waste Managemenr golf tournament back in Jan/early Feb. I didn’t realize it at the time, but the onesie is a tad girly with the ruffled sleeves! (hard to tell in this picture). I like to call this the “Bjorn” shirt. Christmas in Florida!

 We were lucky to spend another Christmas in Florida with Patrick's mom, sister, and papa. These pictures uploaded in reverse order, but you'll get the idea. We had an early flight that left at 6:40 AM, yikes! I was nervous with how Branko would do, but he did fabulous waking up at 4AM and acted like it was a normal morning. We got to the airport and through the line for security when my ticket wouldn't scan. My husband thinks my birthday is June 20th and not June 25th! This isn't the first time he's done this. Last time was before our trip to Cabo (that we never got to go to due to Pat hurting his back), however, Patrick caught it the day before we were supposed to leave. Luckily, the airport wasn't too packed and we were able to get through the line again without any wait. We were very lucky to fly out before this "massive" snowstrom that was to come. Schools were cancelled-including colleges during finals week, allowing for kids to have 2 days extra

Ozarks 2023!

We went to the Ozarks a week earlier than normal, and the weather was much more bearable this year. (Or maybe it wasn't as miserable being outside because I wasn't pregnant). The boys did great during the drive. They both were starting to lose it in St. Louis-which worked out because we were going to stop there for lunch anyway. Then, they lost it when we got to Branson-which worked out because we were there!  This photo is out of order, but Branko was Nora's shadow the whole trip! Thank you for taking him under your wing Nora! He sure looks up to you. When we arrived, we settled into our room. It was the perfect room for us-main level, corner room, with no neighbors on either side of us. Hopefully we didn't wake our neighbors above and below us!  The car was pretty tight, but only because our stroller takes up most of the space!
