Besties

Remember that cute little baby I delivered back in August, here he is! These two are 7 weeks apart. This is Lindsey's little guy, Charlie. Lindsey and I met in orientation at Froedtert. We sat next to each other on the  first day and realized we had a ton in common.

We recently starting watching the Tiger Woods documentary on HBO and it said that he held his first club when he was 3 months old. We thought Branko needed his own set, right now he likes to try and put the clubs in his mouth.

The packers lost the NFC championship game, but we had fun eating dips and hanging out!


Branko had his 4 month check up. He is now 15lb 0.2oz (40th percentile) and 25in (66th percentile). Looks like we have a tall and skinny boy so far. Our ped recommended to keep breastfeeding until he's 6 months, but we're excited to start solids soon! Branko received his next round of vaccines, these pictures in his jersey are the next day after his vaccines, he was happy and content... and then he started screaming and developed a fever. A few doses of tylenol and snuggles with mom did the trick. I was worried he was going to be up all night because he slept all day, but he slept the longest stretch he's ever done, 9.5 hours!




The next day he got to hang out with Bennett again!

First smiles!

November 6th was our little guys first real smile, and boy does it make all the exhaustion worth it! Starting to bring his hands together :) Nora being put to work and getting to feed her baby cousin! More smiles with Auntie Jodi! My favorite time of day are mornings in bed with Branko, that’s if he slept well the night before. But he is extra smiley in the morning! And those blue eyes really pop with the lighting in our room! Fun filters with Nora! This was the first onesie I bought when I was pregnant. I was in Arizona with some girlfriends for the Waste Managemenr golf tournament back in Jan/early Feb. I didn’t realize it at the time, but the onesie is a tad girly with the ruffled sleeves! (hard to tell in this picture). I like to call this the “Bjorn” shirt. Christmas in Florida!

 We were lucky to spend another Christmas in Florida with Patrick's mom, sister, and papa. These pictures uploaded in reverse order, but you'll get the idea. We had an early flight that left at 6:40 AM, yikes! I was nervous with how Branko would do, but he did fabulous waking up at 4AM and acted like it was a normal morning. We got to the airport and through the line for security when my ticket wouldn't scan. My husband thinks my birthday is June 20th and not June 25th! This isn't the first time he's done this. Last time was before our trip to Cabo (that we never got to go to due to Pat hurting his back), however, Patrick caught it the day before we were supposed to leave. Luckily, the airport wasn't too packed and we were able to get through the line again without any wait. We were very lucky to fly out before this "massive" snowstrom that was to come. Schools were cancelled-including colleges during finals week, allowing for kids to have 2 days extra

Ozarks 2023!

We went to the Ozarks a week earlier than normal, and the weather was much more bearable this year. (Or maybe it wasn't as miserable being outside because I wasn't pregnant). The boys did great during the drive. They both were starting to lose it in St. Louis-which worked out because we were going to stop there for lunch anyway. Then, they lost it when we got to Branson-which worked out because we were there!  This photo is out of order, but Branko was Nora's shadow the whole trip! Thank you for taking him under your wing Nora! He sure looks up to you. When we arrived, we settled into our room. It was the perfect room for us-main level, corner room, with no neighbors on either side of us. Hopefully we didn't wake our neighbors above and below us!  The car was pretty tight, but only because our stroller takes up most of the space!
