Our one month old!

The blogger app has a glitch and doesn’t download the pictures I’ve been posting and also makes it difficult for me to edit. So bear with me! I thought I would post some random pictures from his first month! During this month, it has been a bit of a blur. While Patrick was off for the first 2 weeks, I feel like we took turns napping during the day. Weeks 3 and 4 were really hard. I had a hard time with breastfeeding (it hurt more than the labor contractions) and lack of sleep was tough. My mom came up a few times so I could take a nap. Thanks mom! 

This month he is up about every 1.5-2 hours at night, doesn’t miss a meal and will make it known when it’s time to eat, he’s starting to hold his head up, and has started to noticed his mobile on his swing, however, hates the swing. He started to take naps in his crib at 4 weeks old. He enjoys watching the tv when it’s green, since dad enjoys watching soccer, golf, and football!

First smiles!

November 6th was our little guys first real smile, and boy does it make all the exhaustion worth it! Starting to bring his hands together :) Nora being put to work and getting to feed her baby cousin! More smiles with Auntie Jodi! My favorite time of day are mornings in bed with Branko, that’s if he slept well the night before. But he is extra smiley in the morning! And those blue eyes really pop with the lighting in our room! Fun filters with Nora! This was the first onesie I bought when I was pregnant. I was in Arizona with some girlfriends for the Waste Managemenr golf tournament back in Jan/early Feb. I didn’t realize it at the time, but the onesie is a tad girly with the ruffled sleeves! (hard to tell in this picture). I like to call this the “Bjorn” shirt. Christmas in Florida!

 We were lucky to spend another Christmas in Florida with Patrick's mom, sister, and papa. These pictures uploaded in reverse order, but you'll get the idea. We had an early flight that left at 6:40 AM, yikes! I was nervous with how Branko would do, but he did fabulous waking up at 4AM and acted like it was a normal morning. We got to the airport and through the line for security when my ticket wouldn't scan. My husband thinks my birthday is June 20th and not June 25th! This isn't the first time he's done this. Last time was before our trip to Cabo (that we never got to go to due to Pat hurting his back), however, Patrick caught it the day before we were supposed to leave. Luckily, the airport wasn't too packed and we were able to get through the line again without any wait. We were very lucky to fly out before this "massive" snowstrom that was to come. Ozarks 2023!

We went to the Ozarks a week earlier than normal, and the weather was much more bearable this year. (Or maybe it wasn't as miserable being outside because I wasn't pregnant). The boys did great during the drive. They both were starting to lose it in St. Louis-which worked out because we were going to stop there for lunch anyway. Then, they lost it when we got to Branson-which worked out because we were there!  This photo is out of order, but Branko was Nora's shadow the whole trip! Thank you for taking him under your wing Nora! He sure looks up to you. When we arrived, we settled into our room. It was the perfect room for us-main level, corner room, with no neighbors on either side of us. Hopefully we didn't wake our neighbors above and below us!  The car was pretty tight, but only because our stroller takes up most of the space!
