Branko's 4th birthday and life in September



 


Our Branko is F O U R!

Branko has phased out of his super hero passion and has really been into animals (mostly safari animals) and LOVES halloween. He loves to watch animal sound youtube videos and the halloween display videos from Lowes and Home Depot from this year and years past. 

He enjoys playing with his animals and super hero figurines in the sand box and getting them full of sand and then rinse them off in the water table. 

He also enjoys being chased, jumping, and playing hide and seek.

On his actual birthday, we were all sick (except for Conrad), we ended up going to the zoo to burn some time since we felt like it was easier to parent and walk around at the zoo than stay home. It was a beautiful day and probably our 4th or 5th time at the zoo that week!

Branko is shy, knows what he wants and has big emotions when things don't go his way, but can be sweet and caring.

We got to meet Jackie and her two kiddos during her last few weeks of maternity leave.


We got to do all the fall things during the month of September. Here we are at Jerry Smith's. He still does like his super heros, Hulk is Branko's favorite.

Conrad has showed some interest in the potty


My family was all in town for Brocktoberfest. We have a pretty big group, so going out is challenging. We went to Dannys for breakfast and Bennett was at the booth behind us.

We went apple picking at apple holler. Branko also loves to eat apples. I've only apple picked once and my goodness, the grocery store apples have no flavor compared to these.

  Someone got into the red paint post bath.. Fun trip to the library This wall had them entertained for a while Conrads a bit more of a nurturer than his brother Get in m belly! Disney World and baby #3!!

Both boys fell asleep as soon as we landed.... in Orlando. We waited for everyone to get off the plane before waking up these sleeping beauties. We started the trip out rough, I was super sick with no energy the day before we left and Patrick had the same symptoms the day we left. I think we may have had Covid after hearing what other people's symptoms were after we got back. I didn't want to bring their car seats, so we booked a bus to take us from the airport to our hotel. NEVER AGAIN! (at least while the boys are this young). We waited in the airport for the bus for an hour and a half. Recipe for disaster after waking up early, driving to Midway airport, being on a plane, waiting in line for the bus, and then sit on the bus to get to the resort. It was a lot and not a great way to start the trip. We'll get a car rental next time. Yes, we thought about an uber, but they only have options for 1 carseat. Sip and see-Oh the places you will go! Also, Easter, Masters, and April randoms

 On Wednesdays, Branko has daycare, leaving me with the two younger boys. To be honest, having all three of them is easier than juggling the younger two by myself. Conrad is at a tough age right now where he wants all of my attention and gets aggressive/jealous when I need to feed or hold Michael. On this particular day, we needed to get out of the house, so Conrad led us through Target. He ran away twice, which was fun chasing him with the doona stroller. Thankfully, it wasn't busy! I hate the running away phase! We also went to my favorite coffee shop. Meanwhile, Branko learned about trains at school and was excited to go to his mama's house as his destination. Michael has started to be more alert these days. I just LOVE his eyes Superhero brothers!
