Florida and Brownson gender reveal!

Before we get into the Florida pics, I got to reveal the gender for our friends Jackie and Andrew. I picked up the card from Jackie, went to Party City to get the color chocolates for the middle of the cake, and we had a party that weekend. I've been really into baking cakes lately. I bought all the gadgets to make it easier to decorate and have been playing around with different recipes for frosting. For this cake I made 2 layers, took a cup to discard the middle and filled it with BLUE chocolates. Baby Gus coming in June!

Happy boys. I'm sure this ended up with lots of splashing and needing to get out. We still need to get the glass shower doors installed!

This is the year where Branko will need to give up the blue swing, he's getting a bit too big and territorial of it!


Walking into hockey like...
Branko would get on his hockey gear, but never wanted to get on the ice. Seems like hockey isn't really his thing. But it sure was cute to see him all dressed up!

Now for the Florida trip. We spent the superbowl weekend in Naples to visit papa. The niners made it to the super bowl! But didn't win...

Here we are pre-flight. Branko got some stickers for the TSA officers. Who knew some of them could be so friendly?






Conrad was supposed to be napping on the plane, but he had other plans. Thank god for snacks! He started to get a bit restless during the flight, but no screaming or crying!

We went to downtown Naples for a bit and got the boys some ice cream

Papa had a cocktail party at the country club to meet the boys. Here they are all cute and dressed up. Branko only wears sweatpants these days. I didn't get the best of pics, but these will do!



The next day we went to the zoo. This was our third time at this particular zoo. We've found that it's best to go in the morning when it opens to hear and see the monkeys. Conrad fell asleep on the way, his naps were all sorts of messed up. He was in a mommy stage and sleep regression during this time. This sleep regression lasted like 2 months! It was a rough one. Usually he goes down without any issues, we just put him down awake, but we've been having to rock him to sleep and he would wake up in the middle of the night needing to be rocked, and then wake up at 4 or 5 AM.. we are one tired set of parents.

We went to our favorite spot, Buzz's. We haven't been able to go lately due to it being damaged by the hurricane. It's right on the water and is the classic beach restaurant with an amazing grouper sandwich.






Someone fell asleep in the car on the way to the restaurant.. pics are starting to get a bit out of order...

  Someone got into the red paint post bath.. Fun trip to the library This wall had them entertained for a while Conrads a bit more of a nurturer than his brother Get in m belly! Disney World and baby #3!!

Both boys fell asleep as soon as we landed.... in Orlando. We waited for everyone to get off the plane before waking up these sleeping beauties. We started the trip out rough, I was super sick with no energy the day before we left and Patrick had the same symptoms the day we left. I think we may have had Covid after hearing what other people's symptoms were after we got back. I didn't want to bring their car seats, so we booked a bus to take us from the airport to our hotel. NEVER AGAIN! (at least while the boys are this young). We waited in the airport for the bus for an hour and a half. Recipe for disaster after waking up early, driving to Midway airport, being on a plane, waiting in line for the bus, and then sit on the bus to get to the resort. It was a lot and not a great way to start the trip. We'll get a car rental next time. Yes, we thought about an uber, but they only have options for 1 carseat. Sip and see-Oh the places you will go! Also, Easter, Masters, and April randoms

 On Wednesdays, Branko has daycare, leaving me with the two younger boys. To be honest, having all three of them is easier than juggling the younger two by myself. Conrad is at a tough age right now where he wants all of my attention and gets aggressive/jealous when I need to feed or hold Michael. On this particular day, we needed to get out of the house, so Conrad led us through Target. He ran away twice, which was fun chasing him with the doona stroller. Thankfully, it wasn't busy! I hate the running away phase! We also went to my favorite coffee shop. Meanwhile, Branko learned about trains at school and was excited to go to his mama's house as his destination. Michael has started to be more alert these days. I just LOVE his eyes Superhero brothers!
