Christmas/New Years!

When I have off on Wednesdays, I like to take Conrad to the coffee shop nearby for a special treat (for both of us). It was an old school house and it's such a cozy spot with delicious bakery treats.

During the month of December, the boys' bathroom got remodeled! Conrads room shares a wall with the bathroom, and he somehow napped through all the noise, thank god! Conrad has been observing the contractor as he used his tools to "fix" the sink.

Pics from school! It's not too often we get pictures of Branko with some of his classmates.

Almost done!!

Some warm December days calls for going to the zoo.

Twas the night before Christmas..

Santa came and put the presents under the tree and Branko made some delicious sugar cookies for him.

We opened presents on Christmas Eve since we had no family plans. It was a magical day where we had no schedule and could just hang out at home and play with our new toys.

Mid present break for cookies and milk. We also were baking a breakfast casserole and mimosas for mom and dad!

No pants necessary.

Time for some Christmas movies. This lasted for maybe a minute.
It was a mild day, so we went and played at the park. It was a bit wet, but Pat remembered to bring a towel and dry off the slides.

Back at home, we dressed in our new super hero capes.

Since Branko first saw these capes, he is always Hulk, Conrad is captain America, Patrick is Batman, and I'm spiderman. He's grown a big obsession with the Hulk and superheros.

This particular gift is a small projector you can hook up to your phone and read stories on the wall. Branko hasn't been enjoying reading books before bed because it signals that it's time for bed, so this makes it a little more fun for the boys. It came with 4 books, like "Brown Bear".

Branko also got some "stepping stones" to play the floor is lava

Here we are on Chirstmas day at Patrick's moms house. Conrad was looking very stylish.

Branko got A LOT of gifts from Bacca. It took nearly the whole day for him to open up everything. He has been into Paw Patrol, so he got lots of Paw Patrol themed gifts!
Conrad now has his own chair like his big bro

After opening up all of those gifts, it was time to nap.

Back at home, playing with our new toys

The boys sure do love their new bathroom!

We had some company over to ring in the new year!

If you notice the rainbow bags on the fireplace, I put different little toys like light up watches/tattoos in the bags and each hour the kids got to pick a bag and see what was inside and play with their new toys.

Cheers!

Big cake pop fan.
Meanwhile, Conrad rang  in the new year at Grandma and Grandpas house.

They sure missed each other
