Splash Pads

 


Baby Kaiya was in the neighborhood, so we got to have a spontaneous visit!


I met up with Jodi, Ava, Nora, Emery, and Evie at the splash pad in the neighborhood I grew up in. It was fun to be back since a lot of it is still the exact same.





Evie and I did this for a while, my arms were pretty sore as you can imagine our weight discrepency.





Note Branko's socks. He's still in a big sock phase. He can't handle wet pants or a shirt and wants it off right away, but wet socks are just fine. We've gone through a lot of socks this summer!






Conrad had a doctors appointment before going to the splash pad. Branko enjoys standing in front of different things and stops to "pose" for a photo.



Our neighbors will put up their jumpy splash pad every now and then this summer. So one evening the boys randomly went over there to swim (as you can tell by them being in their clothes). It was the first time Conrad was truly laughing at whatever Branko did. It was SO cute! I teared up. Good thing I had those sunglasses on.



First time Conrad gets to sit in the cart! His carrier just got way too heavy!


The neighbor I was just talking about in the last few photos went out of town one weekend and we offered to watch their dog, Cooper. Branko loves Cooper, so it was a no brainer. He was a very good boy and we were sad to see him leave.

  Someone got into the red paint post bath.. Fun trip to the library This wall had them entertained for a while Conrads a bit more of a nurturer than his brother Get in m belly! Sip and see-Oh the places you will go! Also, Easter, Masters, and April randoms

 On Wednesdays, Branko has daycare, leaving me with the two younger boys. To be honest, having all three of them is easier than juggling the younger two by myself. Conrad is at a tough age right now where he wants all of my attention and gets aggressive/jealous when I need to feed or hold Michael. On this particular day, we needed to get out of the house, so Conrad led us through Target. He ran away twice, which was fun chasing him with the doona stroller. Thankfully, it wasn't busy! I hate the running away phase! We also went to my favorite coffee shop. Meanwhile, Branko learned about trains at school and was excited to go to his mama's house as his destination. Michael has started to be more alert these days. I just LOVE his eyes Superhero brothers! Disney World and baby #3!!

Both boys fell asleep as soon as we landed.... in Orlando. We waited for everyone to get off the plane before waking up these sleeping beauties. We started the trip out rough, I was super sick with no energy the day before we left and Patrick had the same symptoms the day we left. I think we may have had Covid after hearing what other people's symptoms were after we got back. I didn't want to bring their car seats, so we booked a bus to take us from the airport to our hotel. NEVER AGAIN! (at least while the boys are this young). We waited in the airport for the bus for an hour and a half. Recipe for disaster after waking up early, driving to Midway airport, being on a plane, waiting in line for the bus, and then sit on the bus to get to the resort. It was a lot and not a great way to start the trip. We'll get a car rental next time. Yes, we thought about an uber, but they only have options for 1 carseat.
