Pizza on the Farm


It's been awhile...

Back in July, we went to Pizza on the Farm with my friend Katie, who I went to nursing school with, and her family. It was a beautiful night, the kids got to pet and feed some of their cows, enjoyed some local beers/pizza, and live music. Afterwards, we went to a cute ice cream shop which made you feel like you were taken back to the 1940's.

Since we live so close to the airport, we get a lot of action when the planes land over our house. We have an app on our phone to see where the planes are coming from or if we see one flying over us, we like to try and guess. One time we saw one on its way to Hong Kong. We thought Branko would enjoy the air and water show, which he did! It down poured when we first got there, but when the Blue Angels were ready to start, it cleared up and we got to enjoy the show.


We bought this chair as a "time out" chair, but Branko enjoys reading books and lounging in it.

Zoo day with just Conrad and I! We got to ride the train and see the seal show! Two things I'm not able to do when I have both boys by myself.

  Someone got into the red paint post bath.. Fun trip to the library This wall had them entertained for a while Conrads a bit more of a nurturer than his brother Get in m belly! Sip and see-Oh the places you will go! Also, Easter, Masters, and April randoms

 On Wednesdays, Branko has daycare, leaving me with the two younger boys. To be honest, having all three of them is easier than juggling the younger two by myself. Conrad is at a tough age right now where he wants all of my attention and gets aggressive/jealous when I need to feed or hold Michael. On this particular day, we needed to get out of the house, so Conrad led us through Target. He ran away twice, which was fun chasing him with the doona stroller. Thankfully, it wasn't busy! I hate the running away phase! We also went to my favorite coffee shop. Meanwhile, Branko learned about trains at school and was excited to go to his mama's house as his destination. Michael has started to be more alert these days. I just LOVE his eyes Superhero brothers! Disney World and baby #3!!

Both boys fell asleep as soon as we landed.... in Orlando. We waited for everyone to get off the plane before waking up these sleeping beauties. We started the trip out rough, I was super sick with no energy the day before we left and Patrick had the same symptoms the day we left. I think we may have had Covid after hearing what other people's symptoms were after we got back. I didn't want to bring their car seats, so we booked a bus to take us from the airport to our hotel. NEVER AGAIN! (at least while the boys are this young). We waited in the airport for the bus for an hour and a half. Recipe for disaster after waking up early, driving to Midway airport, being on a plane, waiting in line for the bus, and then sit on the bus to get to the resort. It was a lot and not a great way to start the trip. We'll get a car rental next time. Yes, we thought about an uber, but they only have options for 1 carseat.
