Easter and life lately

We had a taste of summer around Easter and it was such a tease! 
We went to Patrick's moms house for Easter, here's Auntie Kelly!

Branko loves a french onion dip, I think he was the one who ate the most..





My parents go to Austin every year for Easter, it ended up being over Auntie Jodi's spring break. She was generous enough to watch the boys for us 1 day! Thank you Jodi!! It was a beautiful day, so they got to spend almost the entire day outside and went to my old stomping grounds, Shulte Park (that looks spelt wrong).

Potty training has started for Branko! This was the first day, I removed the rug and moved the couches so I could keep an eye on Branko. We used the naked method and this is the phase where Branko had no idea when he was peeing and would just pee a drop or two, he still has accidents now, but is learning to hold it in more! The first part of this day, I didn't think we were ready. Then after his nap, he peed (a lot) on the potty and it just sort of clicked for him. He then started sitting on the potty and actually peeing! We still have a lot of work to do. Whenever we put a pull up or underwear on him, he still pees, because it feels like a diaper to him. When he's commando, he does sooo good-with prompting). I'm happy with our progress and hopefully we continue to improve!

Conrad has been loving to sleep with a lovie! This one is from scentsy and smells soooo good. Mary got it for us for Branko, but we never used it because Branko is more a paci guy. However, Conrad has been loving it!

I've realized a lot of my pictures of Conrad are in his bumbo chair. He has a bit of a flat had, so I'm trying to make sure when he's awake that he's not laying on his head!





Conrad has officially started solids!!! He's tried green beans, peas, carrots, and sweet potatoes. He's hated all of it so far.. Will try fruit this weekend and see how that goes!
Slags and Twinkle came over for dinner last weekend. We watched a lot of Coachella live concerts that night!

First smiles!

November 6th was our little guys first real smile, and boy does it make all the exhaustion worth it! Starting to bring his hands together :) Nora being put to work and getting to feed her baby cousin! More smiles with Auntie Jodi! My favorite time of day are mornings in bed with Branko, that’s if he slept well the night before. But he is extra smiley in the morning! And those blue eyes really pop with the lighting in our room! Fun filters with Nora! This was the first onesie I bought when I was pregnant. I was in Arizona with some girlfriends for the Waste Managemenr golf tournament back in Jan/early Feb. Christmas in Florida!

 We were lucky to spend another Christmas in Florida with Patrick's mom, sister, and papa. These pictures uploaded in reverse order, but you'll get the idea. We had an early flight that left at 6:40 AM, yikes! I was nervous with how Branko would do, but he did fabulous waking up at 4AM and acted like it was a normal morning. We got to the airport and through the line for security when my ticket wouldn't scan. My husband thinks my birthday is June 20th and not June 25th! This isn't the first time he's done this. Last time was before our trip to Cabo (that we never got to go to due to Pat hurting his back), however, Patrick caught it the day before we were supposed to leave. Luckily, the airport wasn't too packed and we were able to get through the line again without any wait. We were very lucky to fly out before this "massive" snowstrom that was to come. Schools were cancelled-including colleges during finals week, allowing for kids to have 2 days extra

Ozarks 2023!

We went to the Ozarks a week earlier than normal, and the weather was much more bearable this year. (Or maybe it wasn't as miserable being outside because I wasn't pregnant). The boys did great during the drive. They both were starting to lose it in St. Louis-which worked out because we were going to stop there for lunch anyway. Then, they lost it when we got to Branson-which worked out because we were there!  This photo is out of order, but Branko was Nora's shadow the whole trip! Thank you for taking him under your wing Nora! He sure looks up to you. When we arrived, we settled into our room. It was the perfect room for us-main level, corner room, with no neighbors on either side of us. Hopefully we didn't wake our neighbors above and below us!  The car was pretty tight, but only because our stroller takes up most of the space!
