Holiday Train Bust


 We randomly were talking about the holiday train and looked up when it was coming, and it was coming the upcoming weekend! Apparently, they haven't had the train run in 3 years. As we did more research about it, some places really make it a big event with tents, drinks, and entertainment. We chose to go to the earlier train, which was at 6:45, to get these boys and ourselves to bed at a decent time. Otherwise, the next train was at 8:45. We went out to dinner before driving down to the train, our first dinner as a family of 4. We chose a mexican restaurant nearby, since they're known to be fast and had chips and salsa righ away for Branko (and us). 

Conrad was dressed as a reindeer. The light was hitting just right this day and I could really see the color of his eyes. As of now, we're going to have 2 blue eyed boys!

The train was supposed to arrive at 6:45 and didn't get there until 7:30! After waiting for over 45 minutes for this train, we decided to leave. Branko wouldn't wear his mittens and it was a pretty chilly night. As we got back to the car and had the boys buckled in, the train finally arrived. I unbuckled Branko so he could see it and then we got to see it on the drive home. Better luck next year... 
I thought trains were always on time!

Disney World and baby #3!!

Both boys fell asleep as soon as we landed.... in Orlando. We waited for everyone to get off the plane before waking up these sleeping beauties. We started the trip out rough, I was super sick with no energy the day before we left and Patrick had the same symptoms the day we left. I think we may have had Covid after hearing what other people's symptoms were after we got back. I didn't want to bring their car seats, so we booked a bus to take us from the airport to our hotel. NEVER AGAIN! (at least while the boys are this young). We waited in the airport for the bus for an hour and a half. Recipe for disaster after waking up early, driving to Midway airport, being on a plane, waiting in line for the bus, and then sit on the bus to get to the resort. Sip and see-Oh the places you will go! Also, Easter, Masters, and April randoms

 On Wednesdays, Branko has daycare, leaving me with the two younger boys. To be honest, having all three of them is easier than juggling the younger two by myself. Conrad is at a tough age right now where he wants all of my attention and gets aggressive/jealous when I need to feed or hold Michael. On this particular day, we needed to get out of the house, so Conrad led us through Target. He ran away twice, which was fun chasing him with the doona stroller. Thankfully, it wasn't busy! I hate the running away phase! We also went to my favorite coffee shop. Meanwhile, Branko learned about trains at school and was excited to go to his mama's house as his destination.
