Brocktoberfest '22

I've been wanting to take Branko to a local coffee shop to sit outside and watch the cars, but everytime I would come they were closed for random things-like summer break or just a day off. Inconsistent coffee shop, but I like the vibe and how they treat their employees. It's right off of a busy road, so Branko is easily entertained by the cars driving by while I sit back and drink my cup of jo.



It's been a while since Branko wore his rain boots, they fit much better this year!


Why are toddlers in boots the cutest thing?





My friend Missy from high school is pregnant with her first baby, she ended up having a girl-Amelia! Believe it or not, we're only a week apart in our pregnancies- what a difference #1 and #2 does to your body.



I forgot to crop this and want it on the blog as a memory, but here is a group shot of all of my high school girl friends- we're lucky to have such a large group that still keeps in touch. We've been graduated from high school (dare I say) 14 years!


Now to Brocktoberfest! The baby sheep were much bigger than they were back in June-so Branko had much more fun with them. He loved to "baaaa" at them, one of his favorite words at the time.

Lots of running around with the big cousins!




Soooo happy! At least for most of it-Branko had a canker sore on his tongue-so eating and drinking was a bit painful for him.

My aunt Cindy had a horse race for all the kids- Branko and Bennett sat back and watched and cheered from aside 


One of the Kilps kids gave one of their prize trophies to Branko. (This is why I shouldn't wait to update the blog-so I remember the details)


PJ's on before heading home... I don't think Branko fell asleep in the car like he usually does. I think Patrick was exhausted chasing Branko around all day. 

Branko was in heaven with all of these cows! Another great Brocktoberfest, excited for next years!

  Someone got into the red paint post bath.. Fun trip to the library This wall had them entertained for a while Conrads a bit more of a nurturer than his brother Get in m belly! Disney World and baby #3!!

Both boys fell asleep as soon as we landed.... in Orlando. We waited for everyone to get off the plane before waking up these sleeping beauties. We started the trip out rough, I was super sick with no energy the day before we left and Patrick had the same symptoms the day we left. I think we may have had Covid after hearing what other people's symptoms were after we got back. I didn't want to bring their car seats, so we booked a bus to take us from the airport to our hotel. NEVER AGAIN! (at least while the boys are this young). We waited in the airport for the bus for an hour and a half. Recipe for disaster after waking up early, driving to Midway airport, being on a plane, waiting in line for the bus, and then sit on the bus to get to the resort. It was a lot and not a great way to start the trip. We'll get a car rental next time. Yes, we thought about an uber, but they only have options for 1 carseat. Sip and see-Oh the places you will go! Also, Easter, Masters, and April randoms

 On Wednesdays, Branko has daycare, leaving me with the two younger boys. To be honest, having all three of them is easier than juggling the younger two by myself. Conrad is at a tough age right now where he wants all of my attention and gets aggressive/jealous when I need to feed or hold Michael. On this particular day, we needed to get out of the house, so Conrad led us through Target. He ran away twice, which was fun chasing him with the doona stroller. Thankfully, it wasn't busy! I hate the running away phase! We also went to my favorite coffee shop. Meanwhile, Branko learned about trains at school and was excited to go to his mama's house as his destination. Michael has started to be more alert these days. I just LOVE his eyes Superhero brothers!
