Ozarks 2022
Another Benetti Family vacation to the Ozarks in the books. These are all out of order... Our last day there fell on my birthday and it was HOT. The whole trip was awfully hot and the heat definitely affected me way more than it normally does. A few of my close girlfriends sent over some chocolate covered strawberries and other desserts. I made sure those teenage boys left nothing behind!
We spent a day on the lake and rented a few tubes again. The water felt so refreshing! After we were on the lake, Uncle Pat had a sweet tooth and bought a bunch of ingredients for an ice cream sundae bar. Nora helped pick out the toppings.
Matching crocs!
This is actually on our way home, we stopped at McDonalds for some breakfast. Branko did great this year on the road trip!
Patrick bought an ice cream cake from DQ for my bday, my fav! We left if blank for the kids to decorate it. I think Bella/Sydney did most of it and they did a great job!
Peep Branko in the back on the swing! Thankful we brought the swing as the yard was all rock and there were lots of tics.
Water balloon/squirt gun fight!
We stopped at Sams club in Springfield, MO to pick up our groceries for our night of cooking and saw this big sprinkler. Way cooler in the pic than real life..
My dad's one thing he wanted to do on the trip was go mini golfing. 18 holes went quick! We split into 4 (?) groups. Here was a pic of this group!
Here is a pic of our group!
Found these two (Curtis) playing some old school nintendo.
The swing is so much fun!
We blew this sprinkler up with a hair dryer.
My dad is obsessed with rocks, especially from this area. We took him to one of the caves. Slight detour to take a picture.
Branko "helping" put the dishes away.
Watching Sydney's color guard routine.
Dinner the first night, nachos..
The first day we were there, a new golf course of Tiger Woods, opened up. Patrick and I went as my Father's Day gift for him. Such a beautiful course. I even had to pay $75 just to ride a long in the cart! Here is hole 19. At the end was a little cave tour. The water splashing felt amazing as this was a very hot day.
Just your view coming out of the bathroom.
A few pictures from the inside of the clubhouse. Patrick has a thing for buffalo..
Prior to arriving in Branson, we stayed the night in St. Louis to break up the drive a bit. Branko probably would've done fine for the whole ride, but we didn't know how he would do. We got a hotel with a pool in St. Louis and went to the aquarium prior to making the last leg of the trip.
Snacks in bed at the hotel.
We went to a nearby park to our hotel. We didn't last long as Branko was in a terrible mood. We had a rough night in the hotel and he ended up sleeping in bed with us.
Despite what this picture shows, he did enjoy swimming at the hotel.
Nora snuggles.
Small group shot in the refreshing lake.
Someone fell asleep in the car on the way to the lake.
Another great, memorable trip to the Ozarks! Thanks for booking the house mom and dad!
