End of July/August randoms

I went to the Alanis Morrisette concert with some of my co-workers for my co-worker, Jenna's, birthday. It was a hot day turned into pouring rain, turned into a nice night.

I was also able to go river floating with some of my girlfriends near Appleton. The water was very shallow, so we got stuck a lot and also two of our tubes popped, one of which was mine!

After almost a year, I got my hair done, I love it! Last time I got it cut, the girl did a terrible job and I had to go back.. I've never had to do that before. It was really bad...

Not sure why this is a screen shot, but our neighbors behind us wanted to babysit Branko. One is in high school, the other in middle school, so the middle schooler wanted to get some tips from her big sis! We worked around their schedule and just had dinner one night at Movida. We also had drinks at the "Backyard" at the Iron Horse. It was a nice night away for the two of us.

28 weeks?

Ella and Branko. They're 14 months apart, shes on the small side for her age and Branko is on the big side..

We had a busy July. We went up North to Taylor and Johns cabin. So peaceful and no cell phone service. However, during this trip, I had a headache all day long and started to get the chills later on in the evening. We all had a rough night and I woke up with a 103 degree fever. I ended up having a fever for 3 days and my OB said that if I got another fever, I should go and get checked out at the hospital. It eventually went away and we didn't have to go in. I still have no idea what it was, I took 4 covid tests-all negative, no GI/GU/or respiratory issues, so it was very bizarre. I blame my weakened immune system due to pregnancy.

7 weeks apart again this pregnancy, definitely not as cute as the pics we got pre-toddler.

We went to Greendale Village Days one Saturday. They had BMX bikers putting on a show, I'm not sure who liked it more, Branko or Patrick.

Branko has been having some rough nights lately, one night we brought him to bed and he banged his head into my mouth and I chipped my tooth, again.. It had been at least 15 years since I chipped it last. It felt worse than it looks. Luckily I had a routine dentist appointment a few days later and they fixed it right up for me.

Someone has really enjoyed dips lately. This is also my way of sneaking in vegetables.

My dad has been coming over to help paint the nursey and bring my vision to life. Here he is cutting wood for the board and baton wall.

One evening, after looking for new carpet in the basement, we stopped at a beer garden in Racine. Branko loved running around and could care less about all the kid activities.
