Dana's Wedding/July 4th/Swimming Lesson

The day after we drove back from the Ozarks, it was my birthday, so we dropped Branko off at the prime outlets with my mother in law, and turned around to drive north to my really good friend Dana's wedding in Cable, Wi, which is about 6 hours north. Needless to say, it was A LOT of driving within a short period of time.

The night of the rehearsal/welcome dinner was my birthday. The girls decorated our room/house!






Branko has really been practicing standing on things, he's gotten so proud of himself!
These two are SO cute together! I'm so happy they got to spend their summer together.


A week after we got back from Dana's wedding, it was already the 4th of July! This is the second year we go up to Sister Bay in Door County with Patrick's friend JP and his fiancé, Krystina, and son Eddie. The sunsets in Sister Bay are sooo pretty. We got a picture in this spot the year prior.

The next morning while the guys were golfing, Krystina and the little guys went and grabbed coffee and played by the park. Branko was very content swinging and waving his hands at all of the dogs that walked by.
Later on that day, we rented a boat and drove along the "thumb" of Wisconsin. Door County sure does have a pretty waterfront.




We drove back home on the Fourth of July as I had to work on the 5th. Branko is starting to get into lots of mischief now!

Like I said, he's doing lots of practicing on how to stand.
One hot day in July, we went to Auntie Kristen's to go swimming. She gave him a brief lesson and then Bennett got to join!





Bennett has mastered crawling (normal) and standing. He will try to stand on anything and everything, even if it includes his big cousin army crawling.

Disney World and baby #3!!

Both boys fell asleep as soon as we landed.... in Orlando. We waited for everyone to get off the plane before waking up these sleeping beauties. We started the trip out rough, I was super sick with no energy the day before we left and Patrick had the same symptoms the day we left. I think we may have had Covid after hearing what other people's symptoms were after we got back. I didn't want to bring their car seats, so we booked a bus to take us from the airport to our hotel. NEVER AGAIN! (at least while the boys are this young). We waited in the airport for the bus for an hour and a half. Recipe for disaster after waking up early, driving to Midway airport, being on a plane, waiting in line for the bus, and then sit on the bus to get to the resort. It was a lot and not a great way to start the trip. We'll get a car rental next time. Yes, we thought about an uber, but they only have options for 1 carseat. Sip and see-Oh the places you will go! Also, Easter, Masters, and April randoms

 On Wednesdays, Branko has daycare, leaving me with the two younger boys. To be honest, having all three of them is easier than juggling the younger two by myself. Conrad is at a tough age right now where he wants all of my attention and gets aggressive/jealous when I need to feed or hold Michael. On this particular day, we needed to get out of the house, so Conrad led us through Target. He ran away twice, which was fun chasing him with the doona stroller. Thankfully, it wasn't busy! I hate the running away phase! We also went to my favorite coffee shop. Meanwhile, Branko learned about trains at school and was excited to go to his mama's house as his destination. Michael has started to be more alert these days. I just LOVE his eyes Superhero brothers!
