Branko meets Papa Branko/Grammy

Naples, Florida, I always enjoy my time there. This one was my favorite though! Branko got to meet his great grandparents and the person he was named after! We flew down after Patrick worked on a Thursday and came back Sunday. Branko rocked his first flight! The only time he cried was once we landed and we were waiting to get off the plane, standing in front of our chair and the flight attendant made an announcement, which freaked Branko out. Luckily, we upgraded our seats and were in the second row, so we were able to quickly run off the plane. I call that a win! He slept basically the whole flight and was a trooper when we got our rental car and drive to our hotel. We ordered carry out at a restaurant right below where we were staying, it was almost 10PM by the time Branko went to sleep, don't worry, he was still up at his normal time of 6AM.

On Friday we went to the pool at our hotel and had breakfast before putting Branko down for his first nap. Once he woke up, off to Grammy and Papa's we went. The photos below are actually from our Saturday visit, but they will get in order after these two. What a great looking family!

Airport pics!

The flight was not full at all, so we had the middle seat open as well, it was awesome! Mostly everyone had an open seat in their row. If only it were always like this!

This was Branko most of the flight, passed out.

Branko's first time in a swimming pool! He did great! It was so nice that we had the pool to ourselves. It was packed when we went back later on in the day. Early bird gets the worm!

He sure loved playing with Papa! He loved the Donald Duck noises he made.

He also loved hanging out with Gram, I will never forget seeing the smile on her face when she saw him for the first time! 

We went to Tin City in the evening for dinner, we originally were just going to walk and pick it up, put Branko to bed, and eat on the balcony, but he passed out, so we ate at the bar and got to spend more time walking around before Branko needed to go to sleep.

Saturday morning, we went to the beach before Branko's first nap. It was his first time at the beach, he sure did love seeing the water and sticking his toes in the sand.

Both of their smiles make me so happy.

Branko usually fell asleep on the car ride back from Grammy and Papa's to the hotel, so he took a lot of car seat naps while we sat out on the balcony. The weather was great that particular weekend, it was warm, but not too humid.

Branko takes on downtown Naples! As soon as we got off of the hotel shuttle, we ran into a guy I went to high school with, Jason, and his wife while they were on the "baby moon." I saw on instagram that he was in Naples, but I didn't expect to see him, small world! These are some of my favorite pictures of these two.  That gummy smile!!!! 

Those are all the pictures from Florida, we really had a great time. Branko was such an angel on the trip. Always in a good mood. It was one of my favorite vacations of all time. Branko made it so much fun and I enjoyed every second of it. I'm glad we went when we did, because a week later, he started teething and you couldn't even feed him with a spoon, he was in so much pain. But he's got two new pearly whites now and he's back to himself.
