The Donovans

Like I mentioned in the previous post, Branko was down for the count on Easter. These pictures are also out of order... Woke up with a fever and congestion, but letting you all know, he gives it a half thumbs up.  We were supposed to go to Patrick's mom's for Easter, but thought we should just stay home and let Branko sleep and eat as he wished. With all of the vomiting the night before, we wanted to be sure he stayed hydrated.  Snuggles ALL day long, I felt bad that he wasn't feeling well, but I sure did love all the snuggling. This is where it gets a little out of order. Nora and Ava had spring break last week, which meant for more Branko time for them! Back to the snuggles. It was fun seeing Branko's big eyes first thing in the morning. This was the Monday after Easter, Branko was feeling a little better. So I dressed him up and he got to go through is Easter basket. It was a Florida themed Easter basket. He got swim trunks, swim long sleeve top, sun screen, bug spra...

These photos are a little out of order, but it'll do. At least they're getting uploaded, right? Branko is now 6 months old! I had to cancel our 6 month appointment because I was scheduled to work, so he just had his appointment yesterday (4/12). He weights 15 lb 15.4oz (31st percentile) and 27in (52nd percentile). Looks like we have a skinnier guy on our hands. Branko has just started solids this month. His first food was avocado, I sliced it into long pieces, but it was too slippery to pick up. Then I steamed broccoli for him to get his little hands on, that was a little better. I felt like he wasn't getting much, not that he needs any substantial amount of food at this time, but I wanted him to actually eat, so I started pureeing everything. So far he's had green beans, carrots, oatmeal, and sweet potatoes. He LOVES sweet potatoes. It's been fun making our own food! He also loves to touch peoples faces, especially dads beard.
