The Donovans

 We randomly were talking about the holiday train and looked up when it was coming, and it was coming the upcoming weekend! Apparently, they haven't had the train run in 3 years. As we did more research about it, some places really make it a big event with tents, drinks, and entertainment. We chose to go to the earlier train, which was at 6:45, to get these boys and ourselves to bed at a decent time. Otherwise, the next train was at 8:45. We went out to dinner before driving down to the train, our first dinner as a family of 4. We chose a mexican restaurant nearby, since they're known to be fast and had chips and salsa righ away for Branko (and us).  Conrad was dressed as a reindeer. The light was hitting just right this day and I could really see the color of his eyes. As of now, we're going to have 2 blue eyed boys! Proof that Conrad was there! The train was supposed to arrive at 6:45 and didn't get there until 7:30! After waiting for over 45 minutes for this train, w...

This is what my mornings look like and I am completely okay with it. I couldn't pick just one to post. Conrad was laying under the tree admiring the lights. It's a lot more challenging to get a picture of just these two This guy must have gone through a growth spurt today because he slept ALL day. A bath was a must to get him some wake time before bed. Wish us luck tonight on a good nights rest! More nugget configurations. This one didn't last long. Branko prefers to climb and run on it. Patricks been really into this app called "Brads Deals." We've made a few purchases from the site-an outdoor rug and this inflatable hot tub. We just set it up today- our plan is to use it on Friday-it's currently heating up and only 63 degrees! It should be good by the weekend!

  Wow, the holiday season is here! What a great/cozy time to be on maternity leave! We went down to Patrick's mom on actual thanksgiving and then spent the next day at my parents.  These snuggles will never ever get old. Bath time to wake up the sleeping baby before bedtime. We had a few nights where Conrad was up for at least 5 hours total throughout the night. He would not go back to sleep, making for two sleepy parents. We've really watched his wake windows now to be sure he's up for at least an hour a few times a day. Kisses for baby bro! My only picture of Branko in his Thanksgiving outfit.
